Rest Stop Crew/Sustainability Director:
As Sustainability Director, created a new landfill-reduction program on two week-long bike tours with 300 riders. Instituted reusable mealware and silverware program, improved recycling, and worked with farmers and composting facilities along the way to keep food waste out of landfills. Program nearly paid for itself in the first year and reduced the production of greenhouse gases while educating and engaging riders and benefiting small communities along the route.
